LGBTQ+ Advocacy Trainings

With the current political climate in the South and nationwide taking a disheartening turn to anti-LGBT action and legislation, many businesses are interested in seeking training to work with LGBT coworkers and customers. Kevin Dorman has always been passionate about educating others and giving them the tools to interact with clients of all backgrounds. Throughout their career, Kevin has gained vital experience as a lecturer, seminar director, and leader of cultural humility trainings. They are also an active member of the local LGBT community as well as a Member of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health. They have many years of experience hosting trainings on transgender culture for speech-language pathologists and other allied health professionals. Kevin also frequently attends meetings of the Greensboro chapter of PFLAG and SETAI to provide guidance and advice for both transgender people early on in their transition and their loved ones.

If you are interested in having Kevin speak at your business, please request an appointment and we can discuss what Prismatic Speech Services can offer you.
